Tenterden Village

Tenterden,With its picture book High Street with Wealden weatherboarding, is a busy small town with 17th & 18th century cottages. It was the home of Britain's first light railway in 1872, now restored.

Smallhythe Place.

Home of the Victorian actress Ellen Terry from 1899 to 1928 and containing her fascinating theatre collection, this half-timbered house was built in the early 16th century when Smallhythe was a thriving shipbuilding yard.

Tenterden area  One of the best Oast Houses I have seen yet.

Tenterden is a town with a large conservation area in the Ashford District of Kent, England.
